There are 7 of us in the Collins Clan.   Now they aren’t all mine, as fabulous as I am!  We are a well blended 21st century family.  With lots of interests and activities between us, I love to find new activities to explore and nurture our minds…that is for all of us, young and old, as we never stop learning and finding new ways to extend and push ourselves and our limits.

 

New to the Hibiscus Coast in 2010, I researched online, went through the papers and visited many websites and was amazed at the number of activities that were available. However, the exercise, although fruitful, was also very time consuming as there was no central point of information for these services...And so Playground was born. Playground is designed to take away the hassles and frustration of searching through numerous websites and newspapers. We have collated the available programmes into a bright and informative magazine that is distributed through the Primary and Intermediate schools of the regions, North Shore/Hibiscus Coast and Hamilton. 

 

North Shore/Hibiscus Coast Magazines:  Born in 2010, We have a current distribution of 16000 booklets to the Primary and Intermediate schools on the North Shore and Hibiscus Coast and this was the area of our very first edition.  My first baby!

 

Hamilton Magazine:  The Hamilton edition was introduced in the first term of 2011 and has been a huge success. Hamilton has a distribution of 12000 booklets into the Primary and Intermediate schools in Hamilton and its popularity and support from parents, and our supply of wonderful programme providers, is fantastic.

 

We are fortunate to be able to provide fun and easy competitions throughout the year for our children to enter into, with prizes from our fabulous holiday programmes and activity providers.
