Technology today allows your children to step into the future and discover technology with a range of sites, experiments, free games, science projects, fun quizzes, interesting facts, amazing videos, tv programmes, art projects, tutorials, worksheets, maths programmes and so much more!

Today everything is readily available at the tip of your fingertips...But when is it too much???

Do you and your family find yourself all sitting around on your devices, head hung low, slouching and even worse no one is communicating!!

It is a curse, one we have a love/hate relationship with, so what do we do? How do we limit the amount of time we are all spending on our devices?

With Winter coming, cold weather, winter sport and coughs and colds, potentially things are set to get worse. But we could look at using it as a time to reconnect.

We allow our kids down time because we want our down time, so we need to find a happy medium.

It's time to get back to the dinner tables, enjoy dinner talking about our day, the highs and the lows...what we did and who we did it with? Some of our best times are around the dinner table talking to our children, has this generation has forotten how to communicate our thoughts and feelings.

Maybe we could look at bringing out some puzzles, or board games. When we bring out a puzzle at home everyone gets onboard to finish it as fast as we can.

Have you thought about exercising together as a family, with the days getting shorter, darker and soon colder you could think up a game or create a small circuit to do together as a family...maybe a few squats, pressups, crunches and planks...add some jumping jacks or burpees to get the heart rate up.

I would love to hear your thoughts on how we could do more to get families moving and grooving together.
